Boys and men are taking in more input than any generation before them, and running less of it through anything like a doctrine. Nobody handed most of us a way to decide on purpose, so we default to whatever crosses the feed first. Primed is an ode to attentional priming: choosing, deliberately, what gets first access to your mind each morning. Not a tradition handed down. Something built, one morning at a time, by the man living it. And what a father primes himself with, he passes onward.
